Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Voice AI+. We collect only what is necessary to operate the app and provide the requested features.

1. Information We Collect

Voice AI+ is designed with minimal data collection. We only collect information necessary to provide the service.

1.1 Account Information

  • Email address — for account identification and access to paid features (optional).

1.2 Purchase Information

  • Subscription/purchase status and receipt metadata (processed via Apple or Google).

1.3 Technical Data

  • IP address (for security and rate limiting)
  • Basic device and app usage information

2. Voice & Audio Data

When you use voice input or translation features, your audio recording is sent to our own servers for processing.

  • What is sent: Temporary voice/audio recording
  • Who it is sent to: Our own secure servers operated by Voice AI+ (tech55.org / api.tech55.org)
  • Processing: Self-hosted OpenAI Whisper model running on our infrastructure (Tesla T4 GPUs)
  • Purpose: Speech-to-text transcription and translation as requested by the user

Important: Audio data is processed temporarily in memory and automatically and permanently deleted immediately after the transcription/translation result is returned to your device. We do not store voice recordings unless you explicitly choose to save them locally on your device.

In-app Consent: Before any voice recording is sent, the app displays a clear consent screen explaining exactly what data is sent, to whom (our servers), and for what purpose. You must explicitly tap to agree before any audio is transmitted.

We do not use voice data for training AI models, advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the feature you requested.

3. Advertising

Voice AI+ may display advertisements. We do not use voice or audio content for advertising or ad personalization.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We only receive confirmation of purchase status.

5. How We Use Information

We use collected information solely to provide, improve, secure, and support the Voice AI+ service.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Voice/audio data is processed only on our own servers.

  • Our own servers — for temporary AI processing (self-hosted Whisper)
  • Apple / Google — for purchase validation
  • Legal authorities — only if legally required
We do not share voice or audio data with any third-party AI services (such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, etc.).

7. Data Storage & Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

8. Data Retention

  • Voice/audio recordings are deleted immediately after processing.
  • Account and purchase data are retained only as long as necessary or as required by law.

9. Your Rights

You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

10. Children’s Privacy

Voice AI+ is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
